Assuming everything goes well (and just assuming statistics happen) we’ll probably be birthing a baby in 9 months.
Most people don’t know this, but with the “wonders” of science (and the fact we actually have to pay people to mix up babies for us outside the human body) we can plan this nearly to the day.
I mean mostly.
If there’s twins, it’ll be in 7-8 months, but you get the idea.
What can you do in 9 months?
Can you get out of debt?
Can you change your body to prioritize health?
Can you repattern your sleep schedule?
Can you change jobs?
Can you change your mind?
Can you follow through on a commitment?
In the last 9 months, we
- Quit a job
- Cut down 3 giant trees
- Mulched 70% of our yard 12″ deep in wood chips
- Planted 30+ fruit and nut trees
- Bought 27 chickens, two of which were roosters and one of which died
- Built two chicken coops
- Cleared 1000+ sqft of space for corn, oats, and wheat growing
- Planted 20 different viney things to feed us and the chickens throughout the year
So the answer is in 9 months, you can do a lot. You have to want to do the things. But you can do a lot.
So maybe I should spend some time today considering what I’ll do for the next nine months (assuming implantation on Sunday is successful).
Because there’s a lot that could be done.
But what should be?
