**/30 Keep the desktop off

I turned the desktop on today. Officially, I guess it breaks the streak, but it was for a reason.

Wife proposed an insane idea: what if we lived in the tiny house and rented this one out.

Clearly this is crazy, but given the lack of interaction I’ve had recently with the desktop, I wanted to see whether it were possible. I actually think it might be.

There is very little I have to do on the desktop these days. It’s basically games and video editing. Because I don’t have a burgeoning youtube channel, I really don’t have to worry too much about the video editing thing.

So only games.

Maybe a little programming, but it’s web programming, so it can technically be done on the chromebook.

So this crazy idea is technologically possible.

Assuming our phones can be moved to unlimited plans and can be used as a mobile hotspot. Which I’m sure Xfinity will be completely willing to take more of our money.

So technologically, it’s possible.

Could we actually get rid of that much stuff?

Maybe.

I’m not the one leading this charge. But I’m curious.

Desktop is back off. And likely to remain so for a while.
