I have no idea what the fastest way to get rid of a stump is.
I don’t know that I know the easiest way either.
But I know the funnest way.
Burn it.
Last summer my brother and I felled a 60′ spruce in my back yard. We bored a chamber in it to light fires. We like lighting fires.
And I’ve spent an evening here and there burning scrap wood in it since we felled it.
Progress is slow, but steady. And it’s quite amusing.
