Yesterday was better

Yesterday was a better day. My wife had a good day, too, which helped me get through the morning.

I got the things done at work that were most important, and I managed my expectations of myself.

Not everything has to be completed today. It’s nice when it is, but some of it will wait till tomorrow. Some of it can be put off because it is inherently less important than the things that need to be done today.

So take stock. Each night before you go to bed, preferably, but each morning before starting if not. What two things need to be done today? There likely aren’t more than two. And if there are, which can be pushed till tomorrow if today’s two take longer than expected?

Buckle down, do the important ones, then see if there is time to do the less important ones.

Move forward with a doable plan and with confidence you can succeed.
